Creating flashcards

Paste a passage, choose an image, or record audio in the app. Vocapi helps identify vocabulary; review the suggestions and choose the words you want to save to a deck.

Camera, photos, and microphone

Vocapi asks for access when you choose a feature that needs your camera, photo library, or microphone. You can manage these permissions in your device settings. You can also paste text instead of using those features.

AI extraction isn’t working

Check your internet connection and make sure your text or recording is clear. Try a shorter passage or a new recording. AI suggestions may vary, so review them before saving your cards.

Your decks and cards

Decks are saved in the app on your device. If you share or import a vocabulary list, that feature may use online storage to retrieve the list.
